Week of October 26th
Week of November 2nd
Standard: S8P1c
Students will be building on their learning of the states of matter. Students will be able to identify variables that affect particles and how it results to a change in form.
E.Q. What are the states of matter? What are the characteristics of each state of matter. What causes matter to change from one type to another? How does energy affect matter? What is temperature? What is viscosity? How does thermal energy affect the viscosity of fluids? What’s happening on a molecular level (particles)?
Project due this Friday at the beginning of class
Monday, November 9th: Quiz on S8P1b-c. (Substances vs. Mixtures; States of matter)/Mini review on S8P1a (atoms-neutrons, electrons, protons; molecules/compounds)
